If you are purchasing a SIM card for a longer term, it’s more advantageous to do so at the Central Festival shopping mall. There are three mobile operators in Phuket: Ais, Dtac, and True Move H. For short trips, tourists often choose the Dtac Happy SIM card, which offers unlimited internet and calls for 8, 15, or 30 days. To purchase a SIM card, you only need your international passport.
