KHO KEE BAR in Kamala, Phuket is a family-friendly bar with an easygoing pub vibe. It has a well-designed bar area, comfortable seating, fans around the space, and clean, modern restrooms. It works equally well for a quick stop for an ice-cold beer or a long evening of chatting and games.

The bar partners with the neighboring Kamala Seafood restaurant, so you can order food from there and enjoy it right at the bar. The menu combines bold Thai favorites with familiar European comfort dishes: fragrant curries (including green curry and panang), tom yum, pad thai, pineapple fried rice with seafood served in a pineapple half, lobster stir-fried Thai-style, duck in red curry and “Oriental” style, plus schnitzel and fish & chips. Portions are generous and the vegetables are fresh.

The cocktail list is one of the highlights. Cocktails are made with care and taste great (including Strawberry Daiquiri, Sex on the Beach, and the signature Siam Honey). There’s also cider and reliably cold beer, and coffee is a good option during the day.

This is clearly a place built for groups: live sports on the screens (football including the Premier League and Bundesliga, plus other sports), board games, and frozen drinks that kids love. The staff are attentive, speak English, and take allergies seriously, including gluten-free requests.

When it’s very busy, service can be slower, and it’s worth confirming the desired doneness for fish dishes. Otherwise, it’s a relaxed, lively spot with fair prices and a genuinely warm welcome.
