Su’s Bar is a small, intimate spot in Phuket with a cozy terrace overlooking a lively street. It’s a great place to settle in for the evening and watch the city move by: the vibe is relaxed and unhurried, with a solid music backdrop rather than noisy crowds. Live music pops up from time to time, which makes the place feel almost like a living room — warm, personal, and close-knit.
The main draw is the 150-baht cocktails. The menu is straightforward, the mixes are done with confidence, and the pours are generous. It works equally well for a couple of drinks before a walk or a calm nightcap to wrap up the day. And if you’re around in the morning, you can also drop in for coffee — cappuccinos are made early, even before 9:00 a.m., which is surprisingly rare for a beach-area neighborhood.
One of the bar’s most memorable touches is its signature “duck” presentation: drinks arrive on a tray with playful duck-themed accents that turn a simple order into a tiny show. There isn’t a full kitchen, though — this place is more about drinks and atmosphere than food.
Service is generally friendly, but it can be a bit slow at times, so it’s worth allowing extra time if you’re in a hurry.
