The Parlour in Phuket (Panwa area, at Veranda Resort) is a waterfront restaurant with sweeping ocean views overlooking the resort’s pools. The open-air terrace really comes into its own at sunset: you can see the sea from almost every table, while the atmosphere stays calm and unhurried. Inside, vibrant lounge seating in “flamingo” shades adds a playful resort feel without turning the place into a noisy hotspot.
The kitchen focuses on breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is a generous buffet with both Western and Thai options — fresh fruit, eggs, pastries, pasta, fried rice, a dedicated omelette station, plus coffee and tea. The à la carte selection also stands out, with dishes such as green curry and lobster linguine, and desserts like black sticky rice. The coconut cappuccino is particularly worth trying. There’s also a separate kids’ menu.
Service is one of the highlights: the team is quick to help with seating, drinks, and order details, keeping things friendly and informal. Dietary requests are handled with care — vegetarian adjustments are available, and allergies are taken seriously, with suitable dishes even delivered to your room if needed. During peak hours, food can take a little longer to arrive, so if you’re planning dinner by the sea, it’s best to allow extra time.
