Wungkeree Seaview is a small café-restaurant on the mountain road to Phuket’s Big Buddha. It’s an easy stop after a walk — or a convenient place to wait out a sudden rain shower. Seating is simple, the place is neat and well kept, and the staff are friendly and attentive.
The main reason to come here is the panoramic view over Chalong Bay and the city. In daylight you can clearly see the coastline; in the evening the city lights come on beautifully. This isn’t a sunset spot — the viewpoint faces east — but the atmosphere stays calm and scenic at any time of day.
The menu mixes Thai favorites with light snacks. You’ll find tom yum, coconut chicken soup, chicken with cashew nuts and rice, pad thai, and mango sticky rice, along with pizza, spaghetti, onion rings, and ice cream. Drinks include coffee (including iced options), tea, beer, and cocktails, with “real kvass” noted as a standout.
Prices are what you’d expect on a popular tourist route: a meal with drinks typically comes to a few hundred baht. When it’s busy, service can slow down and the order of dishes may get mixed up. In the evening, mosquitoes can be an issue in the open-air seating. Opening hours are 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
