In July 2024, Thailand allowed a visa-free stay in the country for 60 days, with the possibility of extending for an additional 30 days. This regime was granted to 93 countries to promote tourism and restore tourist flow after COVID-19. These countries include Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, India, Japan, Korea, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Singapore, the USA, Vietnam, and others.
