Samet Nangshe Viewpoint is located on the mainland in Phang Nga province, north of Phuket. From the island, you should allow 30-40 minutes by private transport. Then, factor in the time needed to reach the northern part of Phuket from your location.
Visitors usually come for sunrises and sunsets. Sunsets are easier since they don’t require waking up early, but for sunrise, you’ll need to prepare in advance. To catch the sunrise, it’s best to leave between 4:00-5:00 AM, depending on where you’re staying. The sunrise happens after 6:00 AM, so check the exact timing for your travel dates.
