The second longest beach in Phuket after Mai Khao, with a length of about 7 kilometers. Located in a convenient tourist area on the west coast. A distinctive feature of the beach is its vegetation, dominated by coniferous trees, so you can hide from the scorching sun in the shade of casuarina groves.
The beach has a calm atmosphere, soft sand, azure water, and good water entry. It is here that some of the most expensive luxury hotels and establishments are located.
The southern part of the beach is more lively, with sun loungers, shops, cafes, and restaurants. The central part is less crowded with tourists, and in the north, there are chances to find seclusion.
On the beach, you can enjoy water sports, including windsurfing and paddleboarding. Bang Tao also attracts golf enthusiasts, as several world-class golf courses are located nearby.
