BlackDuck HomeCoffee in Phuket is a cafe set inside a converted house, and it genuinely feels homely: cool air-conditioning, calm music without unnecessary noise, plenty of seating, and that relaxed “at a friend’s place” vibe. The interior is thoughtfully put together down to the smallest details — vintage touches, neat photo corners, a green little courtyard, and fresh flowers. As a nice extra, they offer complimentary orange-infused water.
They serve well-balanced specialty coffee with a smooth, clean taste — an iced Americano made with a medium roast, a latte topped with their cute signature logo, plus Thai milk tea. Desserts pair well with the coffee: banana bread, blueberry cheesecake, and other sweets. The drinks-and-bakery selection is a highlight, though there aren’t many hot meals.
That said, the menu does include a few filling, budget-friendly options such as pad kra pao with pork and an egg, and kale with crispy pork. It’s also a comfortable spot to work quietly on a laptop.
One standout feature is the dedicated space for runners and cyclists: sports enthusiasts meet here, events and activities take place, and there’s even basic bike service available.
