Frutta Massage & Spa in Karon is a cozy salon with spotless, neatly designed rooms and a calm, soothing atmosphere. The space smells pleasant, the staff are attentive and friendly, and everything is arranged so you can unwind almost as soon as you walk in.
The menu includes traditional Thai massage and targeted work on problem areas, oil and aromatherapy treatments, foot massage (including acupressure techniques), neck–shoulders–back sessions, as well as head and facial options. Aloe vera treatments are also available. Therapists take your preferred pressure level and any limitations into account, focus on tight spots and tension, and can provide a thorough stretch for the back while working deeply through the shoulder area.
Couples can book a couple massage: your feet are washed and you’re given slippers, then you’re shown to private rooms on the second floor. It’s quiet up there and easy to fully relax — many guests even fall asleep during the session. A consistently nice finishing touch is fruit and tea served after the treatment.
Appointments can be made in advance (including via messenger), but peak hours often book out. If they’re full, they may suggest an alternative location just a few minutes away on foot. Quality can vary depending on the therapist, so if you return, it’s a good idea to request the specialist you liked. The salon also sells spa products.
