Jouet D’ Art is a waterfront café at My Beach Resort Phuket. The main reason to come is the panoramic ocean view and the sunsets: floor-to-ceiling windows in the “glass house,” a few outdoor seats, and plenty of great photo spots. It’s a comfortable place to escape the midday heat thanks to strong air conditioning, and in the evening it’s especially nice to simply sit and watch the sun sink into the sea.
The interior feels elegant with a subtle French touch — cozy seating, soft music, charming details like dolls, and an almost cinematic vibe. The space is open and relaxed, with spots that work well if you want to sit quietly with a laptop.
The menu focuses on coffee and desserts: Americano, iced coffee, matcha, green tea, smoothies, and beautifully presented mocktails (sometimes on the sweet side). The standout here is the French croissants and the in-house pastry kitchen — you can actually watch the team baking through a window. The display case is filled with cakes and mousses, such as mango cake, lemon mousse, and fruit tartlets. If you’re after something more filling, there are heartier options too, including a seafood grill platter and a few Thai-fusion–style dishes.
Prices are above average, which is largely down to the location. Finding the place can be slightly confusing — there aren’t many signs, and it’s easiest to head down to the lower level closer to the sea. Service sometimes feels closer to self-service (you may be asked to pick up your order at the counter when it’s ready), and tables aren’t always cleared immediately.
