A compact but worthy of a visit museum. It is located in the Old Phuket neighborhood and admission is free.
The expositions are located in two historical buildings. The first is the well-known “clock tower”. Inside there is an exhibition of works by local photographers, but the most interesting thing is at the top of the tower – the clock mechanism, which you can see from the inside.
Lifehack for lovers of beautiful pictures: next to the building they sell unusual 3D ice cream in the shape of the tower, with which you can make interesting photos.
The second building of the museum is opposite, across the street. Here you can get acquainted with the amazing history of Phuket, learn more about the life and culture of the islanders. The history of Phuket is really fascinating, so there is a lot to see here. Many exhibits can be touched, there is an interactive part, so the museum will be interesting for both adults and children.
It is a good place to take a break from the heat and be impressed by the ancient exhibits, as well as a little self-education.
