RaBud is a hidden gem in Kathu – a cafe with the cozy charm of a farmhouse, set by a freshwater lake and surrounded by greenery.
You can choose a table indoors with air conditioning, or relax on a wooden veranda with thatched roofs directly above the water. A cool breeze blows, tropical plants and bonsai gardens surround you… pure beauty!
Next to the cafe is a small farm where fresh vegetables and herbs are grown. Catfish and carp swim in the lake, and you can feed them – food is available at the cafe for 20 baht.
For families with kids, there’s also a small ball pool on-site – a lovely bonus, especially when adults just want to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee.
Cafe menu includes authentic Thai dishes, homemade desserts, and aromatic coffee. Prices are below average, with generous portions – a rare find!
