Tri Trang Beach (also known as Emerald Beach) is a quiet, cozy 700-meter beach located in a sheltered bay south of Patong. It's 2.5 km from Patong Beach (20 min walk or 5 min by bike), 45 km from the airport. Beach width varies 30-50 meters depending on tide. Gentle entrance, fine sand, sandy bottom with stones and shell fragments.
The coastline has pronounced high and low tides, and comfortable swimming is only possible during high tide when the rocks are hidden underwater. But in the low season, this is one of the most desirable places. Thanks to the cape which protects the shore, large waves don't form here.

Near the beach is the Tri Trang Beach Resort, which has provided the necessary infrastructure. There are sun loungers, showers, and you can have lunch at the hotel restaurant.
To get to the beach, follow the signs to Tri Trang Beach Resort. There will be a steep descent (be careful!), and parking next to the hotel. And don't forget to check the tide chart!
