Vegan Station is a small but very popular fully vegan eatery in Phuket Town, just a short walk from the Jui Tui Shrine and Kuan Im Tng Temple. Inside, it’s bright, spacious, and impressively clean — and usually calmer than the busier venues closer to the temple corner.
The setup is Thai-style buffet: the food is already on display, and you choose rice with two or three (or more) curries/toppings. There’s a wide selection that changes from day to day, ranging from Thai staples and Phuket specialties to dishes you don’t see everywhere. People particularly praise the meat alternatives (including “vegan pork”) and the rich, flavorful curries. Some options can be quite spicy, though there are mild choices as well.
Prices are considered excellent for Phuket. A plate typically costs around 40–80 THB (sometimes 60–90), depending on how many toppings and sauces you add, and the portions are often described as filling. The staff and the owner get frequent compliments for being friendly and helpful — happy to explain what the dishes are and assist with choosing — and they can communicate in English at least at a basic level.
Practical notes: it’s best to bring cash (though QR/bank transfer payments are sometimes accepted). Delivery is available via Grab, and takeaway orders are packed in recyclable boxes. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re vegan or vegetarian — or simply want to try Thai food in a healthier, plant-based version without paying tourist-area prices.
