Yanui is a beautiful and cozy beach in the south of Phuket Island. It is located about 600 meters away from the more famous Nai Harn beach.
The size of the beach is quite small, about 200 meters, but due to its beauty it’s very popular among tourists and locals.
The peculiarity of the beach is a rocky ledge that divides the beach into two parts.
It has an authentic atmosphere and there are not many umbrellas and sun beds. You can rent a kayak and swim to the neighboring island for snorkeling. It’s a great place to see the amazing underwater world and admire the colorful fish and corals.
There’s canoe rental with masks available to paddle away from the shore to a neighboring island with simply magnificent sea world. After 3 pm, the tide recedes, and it’s possible to observe fish even without a mask. In the evening, you can go up to the viewpoint and catch a beautiful sunset.
The beach is especially beautiful at sunset, when the sun’s rays break through the rocks.
