ATHi Garden, Phang Nga, is a hillside camping retreat where the main attraction is the wide mountain panoramas and open sky. The grounds are spacious and lush, with morning mist that gives the place a “Northern Thailand” feel, and clear nights that are great for stargazing. It’s well suited to a quiet getaway and a proper reset — especially in the evenings, when the air turns cooler.
Guests stay in clean, neat, and surprisingly roomy canvas tents. The interior feels comfortable rather than cramped, and both the bedding and the overall setup are well looked after. For the best experience, choose the upper level/terrace: it’s calmer and the views are more impressive, while lower tents may pick up noise from ATV rides. The upper area can get hot during the day, so arriving and planning activities closer to late afternoon or evening makes the most sense.
On site you’ll find a BBQ area with a view, a café serving coffee, and activities such as ATV rides — plus plenty of photo spots, from scenic lookouts to valley-and-canal backdrops. The staff are helpful with practical matters, can guide you around the property, and often lend a hand with getting up to the viewpoints.
A few things to keep in mind: the bathrooms are kept clean, but there may not be enough of them, so waiting is sometimes unavoidable. On peak dates the atmosphere can get louder, and tents may feel closer together. Food is available on site, though some dishes can be on the small side and relatively pricey; bringing your own snacks and basic camping supplies can be a good option. It’s also worth confirming check-in details and what exactly is included in (and how it’s decorated/set up) your tent in advance.
