Baan Ar Jor is a restored Peranakan mansion. Similar mansions are common in Penang, Malacca and Singapore. The place is well restored and maintained. It is full of various artifacts from the past. This is also where the Toh Daeng at Baan Ar Jor restaurant with fantastic food is located on the grounds! Definitely one of the best on Mai Khao (as confirmed by the Michelin star). Taste, price, quality - everything is in perfect balance. The service is first class. Making a reservation is not always easy, make sure you do it in advance. It's hard to recommend one thing from the menu because there are too many delicious options, so feel free to order what you like. Once you've been to Toh Daeng at Baan Ar Jor, you'll want to come back again.
