PAPAJI BANGKOK is a restaurant in Phuket, conveniently located on Patong Beach Road near Bangla Road. It works equally well for a quick post‑beach dinner or a relaxed family meal: the dining room is air‑conditioned, clean and quiet, and the overall vibe is easygoing without feeling intrusive.
The menu focuses on authentic Indian flavors — bold, aromatic curries served with generous portions of rice. Highlights include biryani (lamb, chicken, egg, and vegetarian options), butter chicken, dal makhni, aloo matar, and rogan josh (available in a vegetarian version on request). Fresh from the tandoor, you’ll find tandoori roti and garlic naan, along with popular choices like amritsari kulcha and chole kulcha. There are also Middle Eastern dishes such as hummus and falafel, plus seafood items that emphasize freshness and neat presentation.
Service is one of the restaurant’s strong points: the staff are polite, attentive, and fast, happy to recommend dishes and calmly adjust orders to your preferences — even for picky eaters or more complicated requests. A dinner for four typically comes to around 1,200 THB, which is in line with a mid‑range check.
Practical notes: a 7% service charge may be added to the bill. Occasionally, staff can be a bit too eager to suggest extra items, but a simple, polite request is usually enough to keep things on track.
