Phuket Shooting Range is a large shooting complex in Phuket with a straightforward setup. Registration is quick, you can walk in without an appointment, and usually start almost immediately (though there may be a short wait during the daytime). A passport or photo ID is required to buy targets and ammunition, and payment is cash only.

What stands out most is the wide selection of firearms and shooting options: pistols and revolvers in various calibers, rifles and carbines, shotguns, and BB guns. There are also separate activities such as outdoor clay target shooting in a designated area, plus bows and crossbows (availability depends on what’s in stock at the time of your visit). For each weapon you choose, you’ll typically receive 10 rounds.

The entire experience is built around safety and instructor supervision. Hearing protection is provided, the instructor explains stance and grip, closely monitors each session, and helps with loading magazines and setting up targets. The atmosphere is calm and focused rather than loud or chaotic. There are both indoor and outdoor lanes, and the grounds are clean and well maintained. After your session, staff can help you take photos with the firearm and your target, and can also film a video on your phone if you’d like.

It’s also suitable for families: children can use lower‑caliber options, and age restrictions apply. There’s a cafe on site, plus go‑karting and other activities nearby, along with convenient parking. For the outdoor areas, bring insect repellent and wear covered clothing.
