A journey through Krabi Province

Krabi is not just a single island. The province consists of both mainland and an archipelago, including many islands with picturesque beaches and quirky rock formations. We suggest taking a road trip to Krabi — it’s only about 200 km along the highway, with many colorful locations along the way!

🏖️Ao Nang Resort.

The most famous beach resort in Krabi. It has well-developed infrastructure, and you can find a cozy hotel for an overnight stay. You can also rent a boat here and set off on a sea journey around the province’s islands.

The island got its name from the rocks that resemble a chicken’s head. Thanks to its flora and fauna, this island is a great spot for snorkeling. You can even snorkel at night to observe the glowing plankton.

🌴Railay Beach.

The beach is located in a bay between two cliffs and is incredibly beautiful. Especially the Princess Lagoon. According to legend, the Indian princess Pranang died here, and ever since, her spirit has lived in the grotto, helping to fulfill wishes.

🐅On your way back to Phuket, you can also visit the “Tiger Cave” temple.

But to reach it, you’ll need to climb 1237 stone steps. According to legend, Buddha himself climbed this mountain and left a footprint on the rock. The path is challenging, but the panoramic view is worth it.
