Weather in Phuket in February

Phuket is in the midst of its high season! What kind of weather awaits tourists from around the world in February?

🌡 Air Temperature. January treated us to an unusual coolness, but February promises to return to its typical hot and dry conditions. Average temperatures range from +25°C (77°F) at night to +32°C (90°F) during the day, occasionally reaching as high as +35°C (95°F).

☔️ Rainfall. February is considered one of the driest months in Phuket. On average, there are only about 3 rainy days — and even then, the showers are brief and occur mainly at night. The total rainfall for the month is approximately 30 mm.

🌥 Sunny/Cloudy Days. February is also the sunniest month of the year. There are about 19 sunny days, with the rest being partly cloudy. Even on overcast days, you can easily get a tan — or even a sunburn — through the clouds.

🌊 The Sea. The sea is calm in February, with no strong waves, making every beach ideal for swimming. The average water temperature is a delightful +28.9°C (84°F).

February is the perfect month for a beach vacation, attracting a particularly large number of tourists to Phuket. As a result, prices for accommodation and services tend to rise 🔝

To plan your trip as cost-effectively as possible, be sure to book your accommodation, tours, and transportation in advance.
