What is this new migration card requirement? How do I fill it out?

From May 1, 2025, all foreigners entering Thailand need to complete a digital migration card in advance – the Thailand Digital Arrival Card. This is being done to speed up the border crossing process. The card must be filled out 3 days before crossing the border. You need to visit https://tdac.immigration.go.th/ and provide your personal data, purpose of visit, and travel information (hotel address, flight number). Then you’ll receive a QR code via email, which you can show directly from your smartphone at border control.
