Phuket transforms for the New Year season — the festive atmosphere is everywhere on the island! That’s why it’s easy to find great locations for New Year–style photos. Here’s where to look:
Especially Central Phuket. The mall prepares thoroughly for the New Year celebrations. Here are a few standout spots:
● On the ground floor of Central Floresta, you’ll find the main star of the season — a huge Christmas tree with a unique design.
Tip: for a more atmospheric effect with soft, diffused light coming through the glass ceiling, visit in the morning between 10:00 and 11:00 AM.
● Another festive photo location is the glass skywalk connecting the Central Festival and Floresta wings.
● For little and grown-up princesses alike, the Festival wing features an installation with Ariel the Little Mermaid (right after the skywalk).

Hotels in Phuket also know how to create a festive mood. Large Christmas trees are usually set up in the lobbies, and decorative lighting appears around the pools in the evenings.
