The rainy season in Phuket lasts from May to October, and July and August are right at its peak. Conditions vary from year to year, so there’s no clear winner between the two months.
Despite the weather, Phuket is becoming more popular even in the low season. Rain typically falls at night and is usually short-lived. Both months tend to be cloudy, but the sun is less intense, making it more comfortable to spend time outdoors.
