An accredited center and an official member of the international ISSA association, it has been training sailors and motor yacht captains since 2013, preparing skippers who feel confident at sea.
ISSA certificates allow graduates to charter leisure yachts up to 24 meters anywhere in the world. The most popular program is the full beginner-to-Inshore Skipper ISSA course. It lasts 12 days and includes the complete set of theory and practice: 30 hours of classroom training and 200 nautical miles under the supervision of instructors.
Training is conducted on two types of vessels: a 37-foot cruising–sport yacht and a 39-foot cruising catamaran. This format gives students hands-on experience with the most in-demand charter yachts worldwide.
Online theory is not practiced here: the center firmly believes that seamanship requires in-person learning and direct work with the equipment.
Important: classes are taught in Russian, while the terminology is in English, as in international practice.
Courses:
- Yacht Crew (basic course) – 5 days
- Inshore Skipper Sail / Power ISSA – the first skipper level (only after completing Yacht Crew) – 6 days
- Offshore Skipper Sail / Power ISSA – the second skipper level – 6 days
- VHF Radio Operator – 1 day
After completing the course, graduates receive support during their first independent charter in Thailand: assistance with choosing the right yacht, signing the contract, vessel handover, and route planning. In short, they won’t leave you on your own from the start!
