Many people wonder, “Where to swim in Phuket during the summer?”. The answer is – here.
Ao Yon is the beach in the south of Phuket, where there are no big waves even in the low season.
Here, the sea is calm and turquoise, even during the rainy season, with fine sand and coconut palms, plenty of cafes, restaurants, and hotels.
It is located in the southern part of the island in the Panwa district and is called Ao Yon.
The beach is divided by a small rocky outcrop into two uneven parts.
The most beautiful is the larger one. To get there, drive to the Ao Yon sign, there is a large parking lot for cars and bikes. Then, walk across a bridge and along the cliffs. Be careful, during high tide the path will be completely underwater.
You can also access the beach by parking near the pearl farm, or near the Flamingo beach club, there is a parking lot for bikes.
Ao Yon is a beautiful beach with blue sea, white sand, and overhanging coconut palms.
The beach has distinct high and low tides, so don’t forget to check in on the tides before visiting.
