Beach Panwa

Many people ask the question: “Where can one swim in Phuket during the off-season?” Here’s the answer: at Ao Yon Beach. This is precisely the place where there are never big waves. The beach is located in the southern part of the island in the Panwa area.

Here you’ll find a calm turquoise sea, fine sand, and coconut palms, as well as many cafes, restaurants, and hotels. Various water activities are available, including rental of water equipment.

The beach is divided by a small rocky outcrop into two unequal parts. The most beautiful is the larger one. To get there, you need to drive to the Ao Yon sign, where there will be a large parking lot. Then you need to walk along the bridge along the rocks. You can also reach the beach by parking at the pearl farm, and near the Flamingo beach club there is parking for motorbikes.

The beach has pronounced high and low tides, so don’t forget to check this before visiting.
