Bangla Road is a 400-meter stretch of road closed to vehicular traffic and open only to pedestrians. It is a noisy street with a plethora of establishments and bars to suit every taste and budget. It’s a great spot for those who love loud music and nightlife. Besides bars, there is also a wide selection of street food, clothing and footwear stores, and various entertainments. Additionally, there is a large seafood market here. Some people visit with children, but the place is primarily aimed at adults. Keep in mind that most establishments prefer cash payments. Bangla Road is located near Patong Beach. From 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, before the street is closed off, you can get there by tuk-tuks. However, there is no designated stop, so be sure to tell the driver that you need to get off right here. In the evening, access is only possible by private transport or on foot.
