A beautiful observation deck with views of the very south of Phuket.
Territorially, the spot is located between the beaches of Kata Noi and Nai Harn. To get to the place, you need to take the highway to the dirt road (using navigator). From here you can also get to Nui Beach, which we told about in one of the previous videos.
From the paved road, you can get to the beginning of the climb in several ways: on your own (walking is not recommended, use bike or crossover/jeep) or take a shuttle for ฿200 from locals.
You need to take the dirt road to a black stone labeled PA HINDUM, you can park there. Next to it will be a narrow trail through the jungle uphill. It takes about 10 minutes to climb up the trail. Keep in mind that this is a wild jungle – don’t forget repellents and caution when climbing.
There are no fences or shelter from the sun at the top, so it can be quite hot during the day. We recommend visiting this place in the morning or at sunset.
It is better to take water with you, as the infrastructure is not developed here.
As you ascend, you will see a magnificent view of the whole southern part of Phuket Island – Cape Promthep, Nai Harn and Yanui beaches, Windmill viewpoint.
This is probably the best place to watch the sunset over the Andaman Sea in silence.
