Blue sky Bar

Blue Sky Bar is a small, intimate spot in the Patong area, close to the beach and Bangla Road, yet noticeably calmer than the surrounding nightlife. It’s an easy place to settle in for dinner or stay for a few drinks. From the entrance you get a pleasant view of the street, and there’s plenty of food around — plus the bar sits right next to a small food market, so grabbing a bite is always convenient. There’s also nearby parking for motorbikes.

The main draw is cheap cocktails in Patong at 99–150 baht: neat, well-balanced and without unnecessary fuss. They’re made neatly, with a straightforward, well-balanced taste and without any unnecessary “show.” The bartenders are friendly and chatty, and the owner keeps the vibe relaxed and welcoming, making it comfortable both for groups of friends and for families.

Food is classic Thai comfort fare — simple, filling, and satisfying: tom yum, chicken with basil, and a delicate seafood rice porridge. You can easily adjust the porridge to your taste with prik nam pla, from mild to properly spicy. That flexibility works well for adults and for kids who don’t want anything too fiery.

Service can be a bit inconsistent at times, and an occasional cocktail may miss the mark, but overall the team maintains a warm connection with guests and is helpful in unexpected situations.
