Casa Boho Phuket is a stylish, hillside restaurant in Kamala, set within the grounds of the Hyatt Regency. Its main draw is the sweeping ocean panorama and sunset views — most impressive from the upper terrace, where the evening sky becomes part of the dining experience.

The venue is designed with a lounge feel in mind: plush sofas, bold boho décor, ambient lighting, and a DJ in the evenings, with live music on some nights. Getting there is easy thanks to a golf-cart shuttle, a quick and convenient option given the elevated location. It works equally well for a date, a small group, or a relaxed catch-up.

The menu focuses on Mexican and Latin American cuisine with a fusion twist: meat and seafood tacos, paella, arroz con mariscos, pil pil prawns, peri-peri chicken, and steaks — including Australian picanha (halal options are available). There are vegetarian choices, plus desserts that pair well with coffee. The bar is a highlight: cocktails are vibrant and well balanced. The wine list is interesting but on the pricey side, while the beer selection is fairly standard.

Prices are above average for Phuket, largely because you’re paying for the view, and portion sizes can be moderate. At peak times, it’s best to book ahead and allow extra time — seating and service speed depend on how busy it is, and the evening lighting may feel quite dim. If you have special dietary requests (gluten-free dishes, fresh herbs, raw vegetables), it’s worth double-checking ingredients and preparation methods in advance.
