Coyote Bar Restaurant by Mister Grill is a cosy bar and restaurant in Kathu, Phuket, tucked away on a quiet road far from the busy tourist streets. The concept is straightforward: drop in for a beer or an aperitif, enjoy a relaxed meal, and spend the evening in a friendly, neighbourhood-style atmosphere. The dining room is comfortable, the staff are easy to talk to, and you’ll often hear English and French around you.
The menu blends European favourites with Thai classics. Portions are generous, prices feel reasonable for the quality, and the food is consistently fresh and neatly prepared. Burgers are a strong point — especially the Camembert burger, which has become a go-to choice for anyone who likes bold, rich flavours.
It works equally well for a quick drink or a proper dinner. If you’re coming with friends, the pool table is a great bonus and can easily turn the night into a laid-back hangout.
Occasionally, hot dishes may take a bit longer than expected, and there can be mix-ups with an order — so if you’re ordering steak, it’s best to confirm the cut and doneness with your server. Aside from that, the place delivers a reliably pleasant experience, with a warm welcome and genuinely tasty food.
