Dibuk Restaurant in Phuket Town is a charming spot with an Old Town–inspired interior: lofty ceilings with exposed wooden beams, vintage ceiling fans, warm yellow walls with portraits, a solid bar counter, wicker seating, and wooden chairs. It’s a great place to drop in during the day for a break from the heat, and just as lovely in the evening for a relaxed candlelit dinner. A few outdoor tables and a terrace (still a rarity in Phuket) add to the appeal. Soft lounge music plays in the background, and the setting is very photogenic.
The menu centers on Thai–French fusion. On the Thai side, standouts include Pad Kra Pao, Pad Thai, pineapple fried rice (served with a spicy chili on the side), tom yum and tom-yum-style rice, well-balanced stir-fried noodles, and plenty of seafood — from large prawns to mixed seafood in soups and noodle dishes. The French selection features a rich onion soup, escargots, beef bourguignon, and several lamb dishes.
If you’re looking for something different, you’ll also find more unusual options such as wild boar stew and exotic meats (ostrich, crocodile, and frog legs). Presentation is neat, ingredients are fresh, and prices generally feel fair — though some portions may come across as on the smaller side.
Service is typically quick and friendly, with staff helping guests with seating and ordering. That said, there can occasionally be delays, mix-ups, or inconsistent attention. It’s worth confirming the spice level separately — “medium” can be genuinely Thai-hot — and checking opening hours in advance.
