Hansha Sushi & Sashimi Bar sits on the second floor of The Nai Harn Phuket resort (23/3 Moo1, Vises Road, Rawai) and is open daily from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The main reason to come is the view: a sweeping panorama over the lagoon and Nai Harn Beach, with the open sea on the horizon, Promthep Cape in the distance, and the hillside wind turbines clearly visible. It’s at its best in the hour before sunset, when the sky and water shift into soft, layered colours.

The venue is entirely open-air and offers several seating options — from standard tables to cushioned sofa corners and lounge-style platforms. The mood is relaxed, cooled by the sea breeze, and in the evenings there’s live music; a jazz set makes it an easy place for a slow dinner or a laid-back catch-up with friends.

The kitchen is consistently strong. Sushi and sashimi are made with fresh seafood, and the salmon selections stand out in particular, including New Zealand King Salmon. If you’re dining with a group, a mixed seafood set is a good choice, while a special occasion calls for the omakase experience.

The drinks list is a highlight in its own right: signature cocktails (such as the Lady Nai Harn with local rum), classics like a Piña Colada, and well-designed non-alcoholic options. Cocktail prices are noticeably above average, but happy hour (6:00–7:00 PM) offers especially good value. Major credit cards are accepted.

A few practical notes: the entrance and wayfinding inside the hotel can be a little confusing, and on some days there may be minor hiccups with orders or reservations. After rain, the outdoor cushions can also feel slightly damp.
