There are almost no intrusive vendors, noise, or bustle here. In high season, when the sea is calm, Kata Noi Beach in Phuket is chosen by families with children. In low season, the situation changes, and surfers flock here to conquer the waves.
Most of the shoreline is blocked by the luxury Katathani hotel; free entry is only in the northern part via stairs and in the southern part through bike parking. During peak hours, parking can be difficult.
There are sun loungers and umbrellas. Water activities are available: boat and jet ski rentals, parasailing trips.
