KINDERVILLE Nova is a school in Phuket with an educational programme that combines modern approaches from different countries.
Its foundation brings together the academic frameworks of the British Cambridge system and Russia’s Federal State Educational Standards (FGOS), alongside elements of Finnish and Singaporean teaching approaches, project-based learning, the Elkonin–Davydov methods, and social-emotional learning.
The school focuses not only on knowledge but also on developing logical reasoning, critical thinking, independence, and collaboration skills. Children study Russian and English, mathematics and natural sciences, work on projects, and learn to apply their knowledge in practice. The curricula are regularly updated to reflect current scientific findings.
Lessons take place in small classes of 12–18 students, allowing teachers to give each child individual attention. Children work independently, in pairs, and in teams, with a class mentor and an assistant supporting each class.
The school’s teachers come from different countries, giving students experience of communicating in a multicultural environment. Subjects are taught in both Russian and English.
Particular attention is paid to children’s emotional well-being. A child psychologist on staff helps students adapt to school life, develop emotional intelligence, and manage stress.
To ensure safety, the school has round-the-clock video surveillance and an access control system.
Students are also provided with five meals a day. Menus are designed around children’s ages and needs, and dishes are prepared using natural ingredients.
