The first lion zoo in Thailand. At Lion Land Phuket, visitors have a rare chance to see lions up close — and even pet them!
There’s no need to worry about getting so close to these big predators: the zoo follows strict safety measures. Each lion is watched over by two handlers, they are always well-fed and calm, and designated photo zones are carefully secured.
Lions of all ages live here: newborns (0–2 months), tiny cubs (4–6 months), little lions (6–12 months), teens (12–18 months), adult lions (18–48 months). Each category has its own pricing, ranging from 900 to 1,500 baht.
The lions at Lion Land Phuket are kept in excellent conditions, and their health and well-being are the top priority of this “lion house.” The park also focuses on education and wildlife conservation, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of protecting lions and their natural habitats.
Visitors can explore educational displays, enjoy interactive presentations, and participate in fun activities that offer deeper insight into the ecology of the king of beasts and the threats they face in the wild.
There’s also a gift shop where you can buy lion-themed souvenirs. Entry to Lion Land Phuket is free, but photos with lions are available for an additional fee.
Important Safety Rules:
- Children under 15 years old and under 110 cm in height may only take photos with newborn or tiny cubs.
- Pregnant women are also only allowed to interact with young lions.
- To avoid accidents, all visitors must strictly follow the staff’s instructions, avoid loud noises, and remain calm when near the animals.
If these simple rules are followed, there’s no danger — only a heart-melting experience with these majestic creatures!
