Lion Land Phuket is home to 6 lions of different ages — from cubs to adults. And the best part: each one has its own unique personality!
The park’s most extraordinary resident is the white lion. Its rare coat color is the result of a genetic condition called leucism. This rare species lives in the African savanna and has already become the subject of myths and legends.
At Lion Land Phuket, you can interact with each lion in its own enclosure. Only adults and teenagers aged 15+ and taller than 160 cm are allowed with the big lions. Younger visitors can meet the cubs but must be accompanied by an adult.

Can you touch/hug the lions and hold lion cubs for photos?
Yes — as part of paid interactions under the supervision of trained keepers. The sessions are usually short (about 10–15 minutes) and are strictly controlled by staff.
How safe is it? Are there age or height restrictions?
Safety is ensured by the staff. Many programs have age and height restrictions (for example, interacting with larger lions requires meeting minimum age and height requirements).
What age restrictions apply for entering the enclosures?
- Up to 3 years old: children may enter enclosures only with the youngest lions (Newborn, Baby, and Smallest Lion) and only together with a parent who has purchased a full ticket.
- From 4 to 15 years old: may enter only with lions up to 6 months old (Newborn, Baby, Smallest) and only accompanied by a parent.
- From 15 years old and height 120–150 cm: lions 6 months and older (Small Lion and above).
- From 15 years old and minimum height 160 cm: Medium, Big, and White Lion.
Can you feed the animals?
Yes, milk and meat can be purchased separately during your visit.
Is there a transfer? How can I get there?
There is no official transfer. Lion Land is located in Chalong and can be reached by taxi or rented transport.
