Nui’s Kitchen is a cozy café in Karon, Phuket, simply but tastefully decorated — neat, spotless, with charming little details. It sits by the road, yet the atmosphere remains calm with no noticeable traffic noise. There are only about 5–7 tables inside, so at peak times you may need to wait for a seat.

One of the biggest highlights is breakfast from 7:00 AM. They offer good-value set options (sometimes including a hot drink), generous portions, and tidy, well-presented plates. The menu features “homemade-style” pancakes, toast, sandwiches with proper bacon, eggs, fruit, and croissant sandwiches. Their coffee and iced coffee are particularly good. There’s also a wide selection of smoothies and shakes, and Yorkshire tea is served with the full English breakfast.

The kitchen blends a straightforward Thai–British concept: alongside tom yum, pad thai, tom kha gai, curries, morning glory, papaya salad, and crispy pork, you’ll find classic English and European dishes. A special mention goes to the Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding — available with beef or lamb, served with roast potatoes, vegetables, rich gravy, and the right sauces for the meat. For dessert, they have apple pie with ice cream (and custard on request).

Service is friendly and attentive, and the owners often chat with guests; English is spoken confidently. The restrooms are kept impeccably clean, and free Wi‑Fi is available. The café closes early — usually around 8:00 PM — and is closed on Mondays. A temple night market is nearby on Tuesdays and Fridays. Card payments are accepted with a 3% surcharge. On rare occasions the food can take a little longer than expected, but the staff handle it politely and without fuss.
