Peranakan Museum is a museum in Phuket dedicated to Peranakan culture.
The term “Peranakan” refers to the culture of the descendants of Chinese immigrants who settled in the Malay Archipelago between the 15th and 17th centuries.
The museum is two stories high, with the main exhibition located on the second floor. Visitors can explore collections of antique costumes, household items, furniture, photographs, and recreations of the lives of Chinese immigrants.
For a more enriching experience, audio guides are available in Russian, English, Chinese, and Japanese. Admission fee: ฿300.
The first floor features a restaurant, cafe, and a jewelry shop. There’s also a photo studio offering Peranakan costumes for themed photoshoots 📸
