What Phi Phi Is
Phi Phi is not a single island, but an entire archipelago. The two largest islands are called Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh.
- Phi Phi Don is the main and the only inhabited island. This is where all the infrastructure is located: hotels, restaurants, beach bars, and nightlife after sunset. This is also where overnight stays take place.
- Phi Phi Leh is the wild, uninhabited part of the archipelago, famous for its lagoons and bays. This is where the most “postcard-perfect” locations are found.
The Phi Phi archipelago also includes smaller islands and rock formations that are often part of sea routes for snorkeling and diving:
- Bamboo Island — white sand and turquoise water, one of the most “bounty-style” beaches in the region
- Mosquito Island — an almost uninhabited island with coral reefs and diving spots
- Bida Nok — a limestone rock island, a popular diving location
- Bida Nai — a neighboring rock, also known for its rich underwater world
These are the spots most often included in sea excursions to Phi Phi, because they offer the best places for snorkeling, diving, and secluded stops away from the main routes. You can view all Phi Phi excursion options in the “All Programs” section.
In reality, Phi Phi is not just a single location, but a sequence of ever-changing experiences:
- Pileh Lagoon with its turquoise water surrounded by cliffs
- Maya Bay — a legendary filming location
- Viking Cave with ancient drawings
- Monkey Beach with wild monkeys and powdery white sand
- snorkeling spots in the open sea
- small secluded bays that not everyone reaches
So the familiar scenes from the movie “The Beach” with DiCaprio are only part of the story.
All Programs
There are many formats of excursions to Phi Phi: from action-packed one-day itineraries to more relaxed trips with an overnight stay on Phi Phi Don — it all depends on how deeply you’re ready to immerse yourself in the world of adventure.

You’ll also visit other legendary Phi Phi locations: an emerald-water lagoon, the bay from the movie “The Beach,” scenic cliffs, and snorkeling among colorful fish. The program is designed so that you don’t just see the most beautiful places, but also have time to truly enjoy the moment.
11 Islands – Hong
from 4400 baht | not available for pregnant women | one-day excursion
Booking: WhatsApp, Telegram, Max
One of the most intense sea routes in the region, combining three destinations at once: James Bond Island, Hong Islands, and Phi Phi.
The excursion is carried out by speedboat, which allows you to cover a large number of locations in a short time without losing the dynamic pace or the quality of stops.
If you suffer from motion sickness, we recommend taking a motion sickness pill in advance, as speedboats can be quite bumpy.
The route is designed to showcase different types of landscapes — from rocky lagoons and hidden caves to open sea and famous beaches. It allows you to see the key natural and cultural highlights of the region in just one day and gain a highly diverse experience, from active sea transfers to peaceful stops in lagoons and on beaches.
Phi Phi + Maiton Yacht
from 4900 baht | not available for pregnant women | one-day excursion
Booking: WhatsApp, Telegram, Max
A format for those who want maximum comfort and the feeling of a private sea getaway, rather than a standard excursion.
The day takes place on a motor yacht — this is a completely different level: fewer people, more space, a smooth ride, and an atmosphere as if you were on a private island cruise. From the very first minutes — drinks, snacks, and a relaxed vibe.
The route includes the main pearls of Phi Phi: the azure Pileh Lagoon, the white-sand Maya Bay, cliffs, and crystal-clear water perfect for snorkeling. There is time for swimming, relaxing on the beach, and enjoying the views without feeling rushed.
The finale is at Maiton Island — a secluded spot with the clearest water. Here you can enjoy water activities, swim, relax, and watch the sunset in a peaceful atmosphere.
Phi Phi Big Boat
from 1300 baht | available for pregnant women | one-day excursion
Booking: WhatsApp, Telegram, Max
This is the most calm and comfortable format of a trip to Phi Phi — perfect for those who want to enjoy nature without rushing or unnecessary extremes.
The trip takes place on a large ship with plenty of space, comfortable relaxation areas, and a smooth ride with minimal rocking. It’s a great option if comfort is important or if you are traveling with children.
The route includes all the main highlights of the archipelago: emerald lagoons, majestic cliffs, the famous Maya Bay, and Viking Cave. Most locations are viewed from the boat, without quick landings, making the trip as easy and relaxed as possible.
There will be a snorkeling stop — where you can swim in crystal-clear water among fish and coral — as well as time for lunch and relaxation on Phi Phi Don Island.
4 Pearls
from 5500 baht | not available for pregnant women | two-day excursion
Booking: WhatsApp, Telegram, Max
A two-day sea journey that combines four of the most famous destinations in the Andaman Sea: James Bond, Krabi, Phi Phi, and Bamboo.
Day 1 starts in Phang Nga Bay, home to the famous James Bond Islands: the rocky Koh Panak with caves and lagoons, the legendary Koh Tapu, kayaking, and Panyee Village — a settlement built directly on the water.
The route then continues toward Krabi: Phra Nang Beach with steep cliffs and turquoise water, as well as the Twin Islands and Chicken Island, known for their scenery and snorkeling.
In the evening, transfer to Phi Phi and overnight stay on Phi Phi Don.
Day 2 is dedicated to Phi Phi and Bamboo. In the morning, visit Phi Phi Leh with its main spots — Maya Bay and Pileh Lagoon with emerald water surrounded by cliffs. The route then continues to Bamboo Island — one of the most Instagrammable beaches, with white sand and crystal-clear water.
The main feature of the route is the balance of richness and pace: over two days you see the key natural and cultural locations of the region, but without a feeling of rushing.
5 Pearls
from 6100 baht | not available for pregnant women | two-day excursion
Booking: WhatsApp, Telegram, Max
An extended version of the two-day “4 Pearls” route, created for those who want to see even more key locations in the Andaman Sea without losing comfort and pace.
While the “4 Pearls” focuses on the basic must-see spots of the region, this version is additionally enriched with Hong Island and extended stops in Krabi and Phi Phi, making the journey more diverse in terms of landscapes and experiences.
The format combines five destinations: the James Bond Islands, Krabi, Hong, Phi Phi, and Bamboo.
Day 1 covers Phang Nga Bay and Krabi: Panak Island with caves and lagoons, the legendary James Bond Island (Khao Phing Kan and Koh Tapu), weather permitting — the Ice Cave, kayaking near Talu Island, and the floating village of Panyee. The route then continues to Krabi: Lao Lading Island and Hong Island with its emerald lagoon. In the evening — check-in on Phi Phi Don, dinner, and relaxation on the island.
Day 2 is dedicated to Phi Phi and Bamboo: Phi Phi Leh (Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon, Viking Cave, Monkey Beach), snorkeling in the open sea, then Bamboo Island with classic “bounty-style” beaches, and a final stop at Rang Yai Island before returning.
The evening program on Phi Phi includes a fire show, Thai boxing, a beach atmosphere, and optionally, night swimming with glowing plankton.
