Phi Phi Island

Home Excursions in Phuket Phi Phi Island

A tour to the Phi Phi Islands is an exciting journey to one of the most beautiful corners of Southeast Asia, located in Krabi Province. The island archipelago consists of two main islands – Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh – each famous for its unique natural beauty and recreational opportunities.

At the beginning of the tour, tourists depart by comfortable boat or ferry from Phuket. On the way to the islands, one can enjoy the scenic views of the Andaman Sea, its emerald smoothness and cool sea breeze.

The first stop is often Phi Phi Leh Island, known for its unspoiled beaches and dramatic rocky cliffs. Here is the famous Maya Bay, where the movie “The Beach” starring Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed. Here you can swim in the crystal clear water and take photos of the fabulous scenery.

Next is a visit to Phi Phi Don Island, where it is suggested to explore the local attractions. Here you can visit viewpoints that offer panoramic views of the archipelago, or you can walk along trails through the rainforest. On Phi Phi Phi Don, tourists will enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the local restaurants with a wide range of Thai cuisine. The afternoon is usually free time for relaxing on the beach, swimming or snorkeling at the coral reefs where a variety of marine life can be encountered.

By the end of the day, tour groups take a boat back to the departure point, enjoying a magnificent sunset.
