Pintxo is a bar and restaurant in the heart of Phuket Old Town, specialising in Basque pintxos and Spanish tapas. It’s the kind of place made for a “little bit of everything” evening: order a few small plates, mix and match, and build your own tasting spread — anything from croquettes and meatballs to octopus with a noticeable kick and creamy cheese. There are also more substantial options on the menu, including steak with potatoes and roasted peppers, squid‑ink pasta, seafood, and lobster. The real highlight is the rooftop terrace overlooking the Old Town. Set just above the street, it catches a light breeze and gives you a front‑row view of the neighbourhood — perfect for people‑watching and for striking photos against the colourful rooftops. In the evening you’ll also pick up some ambience from nearby bars: you can hear music, but it never feels like a club.

Service is another strong point. The staff are happy to walk you through the menu, recommend good pairings, and suggest drinks. They make solid coffee, offer cocktails and aperitifs such as Aperol, and can prepare non‑alcoholic versions on request, including options suitable for children.

Prices lean toward the upper‑mid range, so a per‑person bill can add up. During the low season the dining room may be nearly empty, but the kitchen and service remain consistent. Card payments are accepted without any hassle.
