Rawai is officially Phuket’s very first beach, but it is not a perfect place for swimming due to the frequent high tides. However, it doesn’t stop people from coming here for the freshest seafood which you can order at many cafes where you can eat while enjoying a beautiful view. Also, there is a fish market not far from the beach. There are always plenty of boats waiting for tourists on Rawai, so you can go to other islands from here.
