A new three-story shopping mall has opened in the south of the island. It’s designed around the concept of a “Carnival Village,” with recycled wood and traditional patterns used in the decor to reflect Phuket’s culture and charm.
The mall is located in a non-touristy area, making it a calm and pleasant place to shop and discover interesting Thai brands. Here are a few worth checking out:
Clothing & Accessories
- Greyhound – Fashion-forward clothing with Asian minimalism and artistic aesthetics. Offers both basics and designer collections.
- Sretsis – Feminine, bright, and slightly whimsical fashion, often worn by Thai celebrities.
- Issue Thailand – Trendy apparel with Thai ethnic motifs and cultural references.
- Pattaraphan – A Thai jewelry brand known for its unique rings and earrings with bold, unconventional designs. Even supermodel Bella Hadid wears it.
Cosmetics & Self-care
- Panpuri – A luxury brand of organic cosmetics and aromatherapy. Oils, candles, lotions – everything smells like a high-end spa.
- THANN – Another premium brand with natural ingredients. Offers products for both face and body. Great as gifts.
- Oriental Princess – A mass-market favorite with excellent quality. Body care, hair products, and perfumes.
Food & Spices
- Mae Pranom – The queen of Thai sauces. Their chili pastes and fish sauce are must-haves for anyone wanting to cook Thai food at home.
- DoiTung – Organic coffee and products from northern Thailand. This brand is part of a social project supporting local farmers.
- NaRaYa – Fabric satin bags that are very popular with tourists. Includes cute makeup pouches and stylish bags.
As in any shopping mall, Robinson Lifestyle – Chalong offers a wide range of entertainment options. There’s a kid’s play zone called Kid’s Box, with a sandbox, toy stores, a ball pit, and even a wooden town with cars and trains.
A large cinema is also available, showing films including those in English. Ticket prices range from 120 to 280 baht.
Of course, no mall in Thailand is complete without a food court: here you’ll find 15–20 food outlets offering cuisines from around the world (Thai, Japanese, European). Payments can be made by card or cash.
Another big plus of this mall is the large grocery market. On the ground floor is Tops, offering a huge selection of goods at significantly lower prices than those in Phuket’s main tourist areas.
The mall also hosts various festivals and events, making Robinson Lifestyle Chalong not only a great shopping destination, but also a place for cultural entertainment.
