Phuket’s Snake Farm is set up as a short stop with a live snake demonstration. The visit usually begins with a brief introduction: handlers bring out several species, including a cobra, let you see the animals up close, allow photos and videos, and sometimes offer a careful, supervised chance to hold a snake. The main draw is a short “cobra show” (around 7–10 minutes). Walk-in visitors are often quoted roughly 500 THB for adults and 300 THB for children. On organized sightseeing tours, the stop may be presented as “free,” but it’s tied to the group schedule, which can mean waiting for the bus.
After the show, guests are led into a separate room for a lengthy sales presentation of “healing” products — creams, supplements, and remedies advertised as being based on “snake venom.” A major focus here is selling of expensive products, with payment accepted in multiple currencies. The program may also include ritual “cobra cocktails” (blood/bile/heart, sometimes mixed with rum).
