Super Surf Kata is a surf simulator with a bar and kitchen right on the beachfront at Kata Beach. The venue faces the sea and is a popular sunset hangout — people come for a beer or cocktail and to watch others ride the wave.

The main attraction is learning to surf on an artificial wave. Instructors focus on technique and safety, guide you step by step, and adapt the session to your skill level. It’s well suited for families and first-timers: kids get extra support, and if needed you can switch from standing to a bodyboard. Sessions run for 60 minutes and cost around 900 THB per hour. Up to six riders can share half of the lane at the same time.

The bar serves draft beer, wine by the glass, cocktails (including happy-hour deals), coffee, and filling food in generous portions — pizza, fried chicken, shrimp pad thai, rice with octopus, pork fried rice, green curry, gyros, nachos, and a notably large bacon burger. Inside, you’ll find music, a sporty vibe, and a pet-friendly space.
