TRAVELLERS' COFFEE

TRAVELLERS' COFFEE is a small hotel café in the Karon Beach area — an easy stop after a morning walk by the sea. The place feels intimate and welcoming, with tasteful décor, cool air-conditioning, and calm background music. There’s seating indoors as well as a few spots facing the street. It’s kept neat and clean, and the staff are friendly and attentive to requests.

The main focus here is breakfast and brunch. The menu features avocado and salmon toast with exceptionally soft scrambled eggs, croissants with poached egg and salmon, sandwiches, granola yogurt, and fruit bowls — a lighter option for anyone who prefers “healthier” choices. Gluten-free breakfast items are also available. Portions are filling, and everything is served fresh.

Drinks range from the classics to sweeter picks: Americano, cappuccino, iced coffee, flavored lattes, Italian soda, fresh orange juice, banana smoothies, and Thai milk tea. You can request your coffee strength, although it occasionally comes out milder than expected. Sometimes drinks are served in plastic cups.

Service is closer to a counter-order setup: you’ll need to walk up to place your order and pay. Mornings can be a bit slow, so it’s best suited for an unhurried start to the day. One quirky touch that adds to the atmosphere is a small animal — a sugar glider in a cage — which always draws attention.
