Tree Bay Clubhouse in Phuket is a viewpoint and restaurant perched high above the coastline. The main reason to come is the panoramic sunset over the sea and nearby islands: the sky turns golden fast, and the place looks especially stunning during golden hour. Arriving around 5:00–5:30 pm is ideal — you’ll have time to get a good table and settle in before the sun goes down.
The venue is laid out across two levels. Upstairs, there’s a bar and a sunset DJ set that sets the mood for the evening, with playlists that sometimes lean toward EDM and deep house. Downstairs is quieter and more intimate — still with the same sweeping views, but better suited to conversation and a relaxed dinner. The design focuses on natural materials and an open-air feel, and the clubhouse occasionally hosts live shows and performances.
The bar is a strong point, serving well-balanced, photogenic cocktails — especially the piña colada and several house signatures. The food is a bit more hit-or-miss: appetizers and certain mains tend to shine (bao, sweet potato fries, ribs, and sea bass fillet are often good choices), while some dishes — including steaks — can be less consistent.
Prices are above average, and both service charge and tax are added to the bill, so budgeting around 1,000 THB per person or more makes sense. At peak times it can feel hot even up on the hill, the upstairs music may be loud, and service can be slower. Parking isn’t the most convenient, and a few items (such as pizza or shisha) aren’t always available or may only be offered after a certain time. Booking ahead helps you secure one of the best tables.
