Winkin Cafe is a small, family-run spot in Phuket’s Panwa area, just a short walk from the sea. Inside, it’s clean and cozy with soft background music; outside, you get a partial view toward the coastline. The space is compact with only a few tables, so many guests choose to grab a drink or a snack to go.
The café’s main focus is barista-quality coffee. Their cappuccino and Americano are rich and well balanced, and there are solid iced options such as iced coffee and iced coconut, plus a signature coconut Americano. The menu also includes plenty of refreshing drinks — smoothies, shakes, and sweet coffee-based beverages — at reasonable prices.
To go with your coffee, you’ll find waffles and “croffles” (croissant waffles): banana with Nutella, mixed berries, strawberry, and other variations. They also serve mini croissants, fragrant classic croissants, and toast; for a more filling breakfast, there are eggs, cheese, and sausages. Everything is neatly presented and prepared fresh.
The overall vibe is calm and relaxed. Service is friendly, the owners speak good English, and there’s a small kids’ table / play corner. Scooter and car rentals are also available.
Opening hours aren’t always posted in advance; in practice, they often operate roughly from 11:00 to 17:00, so it’s worth keeping in mind that the café may be closed outside those hours.
