Coco Maya Cafe & Restaurant in Phuket is a cozy spot with a vibrant atmosphere and truly strong cuisine. It successfully combines authentic Indian flavors with fusion elements, while the service is attentive and warmly “home-like”.
The menu is especially praised for the butter chicken (often called “the best they’ve ever had”), pav bhaji fondue, lehsooni palak, and dal tadka, as well as chicken tikka masala, biryani, rajma chawal, palak khichdi, and appetizers such as momos, stuffed mushrooms, and the spicy garlic thecha murg. Portions are generous, the food is fresh, and the spice level can be adjusted to your preference (their “spicy” really is spicy).
