NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort

NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort sits on Phuket’s east coast, right inside a working marina lagoon — surrounded by water, piers, and rows of yachts that look especially striking in the evening. It’s an easy place to settle into a calm resort pace away from busy beach crowds: the grounds are pleasant for walks and morning runs, and most of the relaxation here revolves around the pool and wide bay views.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with good bathrooms and the essentials covered (kettle, drinks, minibar, TV). Some room categories even include a washing machine, which is particularly handy for families and longer stays. That said, parts of the décor can feel a little dated, and mattress firmness may vary from one room to another.

An on-site restaurant serves Thai and international dishes. The food is generally well prepared and presented, but the overall vibe is more practical than “wow.” Breakfast offers a decent selection, though some items repeat and the variety can feel modest at times. The bar scene is low-key and largely centered around the pool area.

Service is a clear highlight: the team is friendly, attentive, communicates well in English, and is helpful when unusual requests come up. Buggies are available to get around the property, which is convenient, although waits can be longer during peak times. One important consideration is the location: it’s away from Phuket’s main tourist hubs — about 40–50 minutes from the airport, with a noticeable drive to beaches and nightlife — while the immediate surroundings are mostly marina-oriented. Wi‑Fi and housekeeping quality can also be inconsistent.
